That little man isn’t real you know. With his little bowler hat, long beard, crooked nose, and the fact that he’s not more than a foot tall, it’s pretty obvious. That little man is a duwende! Keep your kids from playing with these little fellas! Cris and Mickey teach you what to do when encountering a dwarf, and Jovitt adds his own insights on Philippine mythological creatures.
A: Bata, maglaro tayo!
B: Uuuh, sino ka?
A: Kaibigan mo ako!
B: Teka, duwende ka!
Translation:
A: Hey kid, let's play!
B: Umm, who are you?
A: I'm your friend!
B: Wait, you're a dwarf!

ayus ang ginagawa nyo... keep it up.. piso kikz if you have time listen to our podcast too.. ingatz!!
Haha, my mama called them 'gnome' in English. She said they live in a pile of dirt and they gave my uncle some big bruises.
Hey guys! Thanks for the greeting/shoutout! Sorry for the very, very late reply, I've been too busy with school. Hehe... I loved the banter here with Jovitt. :D
I didn't know that some Pinoys have to say "Tabi tabi po." when they pee. I just pee and sing...unless there's a "Bawal Tumae sa Boulevard" sign.
Can you guys do a lesson on mild profanity (to help foreigners whether they're being cursed at)? :P
Great idea! We can mention the various "terms of endearment" that our street-bred countrymen call foreigners. It will make tourists aware of how they are being treated. I know we're known for our hospitality, but sometimes familiarity breeds contempt!
And where did you see that "Bawal Tumae sa Boulevard" sign?!?! It's only prohibiting you to defacate; you may be more than welcome to pee!
