Aiyo! So you’re friend is one of those slow types – 30 minutes to get ready to take a shower, another 30 in the shower, and yet another 30 getting out of the shower. Cris and Mickey give you a lesson on how to ask if he’s ready (which he probably isn’t). Jovitt flies in to talk about “Filipino time.”
A: Buboy, handa ka na ba?
B: Hindi pa.
A: Tara na! Late na tayo!
B: Teka lang!
A: Buboy, are you ready?
B: Not yet.
A: Come on! We're late already!
B: Hold up a bit!

Woo hoo, thanks for the shout out! Can't wait for the next one!
hey lili!
glad you enjoyed the lesson!
Buboy's a real name here in the Philippines! It's actually a nickname which is sometimes also used as a term of endearment. :)
"Les mando un beso grande" means "I send everyone/them a big kiss", right?
Hmm.. don't really know how to translate that to Filipino because we don't really say that.. I guess the closest that you can say is "Kiss para sa inyong lahat!" (A kiss for you all/everyone!)..
I'll try asking my friends about that. I'm stumped. (Cris! What you think?)
Gracias amiga!! :)

Yehey! Salamat JP! Our next episode is about adobo. haha, i'm sure you're a master on that! :)

Thanks for your love! It's what we all live for! :3
Liliana:
Buboy is a pretty common nickname in the Philippines. My theory is that it's a "diminutive" of "Boy" another strange yet unbelievable common nickname.
Thanks for noticing the music! They're from my favorite Philippine bands. Since try my best to get them more international exposure. =)
JP:
The should've had you as a guest!
