Ever got home craving for a double cheese burger and all you got was a crummy salad? Ever happen to you twice… thrice… quatrice (there such a word?)??? Well, in this lesson, Cris and Mickey (who both sport a weird English accent) will teach you how to show disappointment, albeit in a rude way. Jovitt pipes in with his recipe for the delectable Filipino dish – adobo.
A: Ano ulam natin?
B: Adobo po.
A: Adobo na naman??? Sawa na ako sa adobo!!!
A: What food are we having?
B: Adobo.
A: Adobo AGAIN??? I'm sick and tired of adobo!!!

Whether you're hopping around our 7,107 islands or hanging out with one of the millions of Filipinos worldwide, KalyeSpeak can help you speak your mind freely!
KalyeSpeak is practical, fun, even entertaining at times. We will not bore you with textbook dictation and miles and miles of memorization. Our lessons get right down to the vernacular -- just as how it is spoken in the street. This way, you can rule shopping, watch what you eat, and even delight that cute little Filipina on the beach.

uy, mas masarap ang adobo pag inuulit ah. :))

Here's a link to my adobo recipe, and if you follow the link you can find my mama's. She used to make a very simple one, but now she adds a lot of crazy stuff. I like mine better now... but I'm often afraid to buy the fatty cuts that get really tender.
I always serve adobo with rice and diced kamatis. naku...
Ni! My link did not appear! Bastos!
