Stuck in the hellish July rains in the middle of EDSA? Late for a flight and the tricycle you're riding in won't make it around to the next corner? Want a wee bit more luxury in your life? Then take a taxi! After this episode with Cris and Mickey, you'll be flagging down taxis left and right. But it doesn't mean that if they stop, you've got yourself a ride. Jovitt explains the mystery of taxis stopping for a customer and driving off to the sunset, leaving the hapless customer behind.

A: Taksi! Taksi!
B: Saan punta niyo?
A: Sa airport.
B: Sige, pasok.

A: Taxi! Taxi!
B: Where you going?
A: To the airport.
B: Sure, hop in.

in the Philippines, you have to wait for the driver to say "sige, pasok" or "okay" before you can get in. although they're not supposed to turn down potential passengers, they do it anyway. :(

Sure, will try to make an episode on meat and restaurants. :)

But rest assured, when ordering steak, it's a sure shot that the waiter will understand you if you say "well done, medium well, or rare." :)

Salamat din!
