The vicious heat of the Filipino summer getting to you? It's not all about the tropical paradise of beaches, bikini-clad Pinays, and cold beer you know. For the rest of us who aren't at the beach, we have to endure scorching 37 degree temperatures, which can lead to "inis init". Jovitt discusses this tropical phenomenon while Cris and Mickey take a looksy at a dialogue which can go "either way."
A: Ang init ngayon! Natutunaw ako!
B: Exage ka naman! Hindi kaya.
A: Bakit ka ganyan?
B: Ang arte mo eh.
A: It's so hot today! I'm melting!
B: You're exaggerating! It's not THAT hot.
A: Why do you have to be that way? :(
B: Because you're so fussy.

That's for you Jov.
Takte yan, naririnig ko yung mga tawa in the background. Sino yung "gal" voice? Si Jovitt ba yun?
Secret. Text na lang kita kung sino.
This is the first one I've listened to. You guys are hilarious! I love your style and homage to my kuya JP from Spanishpod.com in your profile.
Keep it up!
(P.S. I'm US born Pinay living in Seattle. I only understand a little bit of Tagalog and also have family living in Quezon City. Represent!)
Hey, thanks Heather! Glad you liked the podcast! Keep subscribed for more! You called JP your "Kuya?" so where you the one who guested in Del Taco al Tango? :)
Cool cool. :) Kita-kits!

Oops, meant "were you the one..." not "where you the one..." 哎呀。。
Yup, that was me! Studio Fiesta is crazy fun because that Lili, Leo, Esti, and my Kuya are all completely silly!
Also - I think they all love cooking and eating, which is the mark of good people :)
Cool! Haha, can't wait to visit Studio Fiesta! Well, I can't say I love cooking, but I sure love eating. Hahaha.

Hi Kalye speak...
How are you all doing!?!? I think all of you are doing a great job!!! People say that there are very few materials in the internet to learn Filipino. I do agree with them people.
I like your upbeat approach. It certainly is contagious. I very much like it.
Question though... what do you think about Learn Tagalog Show approach?... which is also found on itunes...
We'll check the Learn Tagalog Show out! :)
Thanks for the compliments!
